With the 2026 update, Ducati has shaved off 18kg, bringing the motorcycle’s dry weight to just 199kg — a big leap in agility and touring efficiency.

Design and Styling

Ducati has retained the iconic Multistrada silhouette, making the V2 instantly recognisable. While the core design remains familiar, subtle updates enhance its modern appeal.

Highlights include:

  • A revised LED headlamp with DRLs
  • Compact front fascia and tall windscreen
  • Pronounced front beak and muscular tank shrouds
  • Redesigned exhaust canister
  • 19-litre fuel tank for long-distance touring
  • Visible aluminium monocoque frame that contributes to the reduced weight

The design perfectly balances aggressive adventure styling with Ducati’s trademark Italian finesse.

Engine, Performance and Specifications

Powering the Multistrada V2 is the familiar 890cc, 90-degree V-twin engine, producing 115bhp and 92Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The 2026 version also meets E20 fuel compliance standards, ensuring better fuel flexibility for Indian conditions. While engine performance figures remain the same, the reduced weight and fine-tuned chassis deliver a more responsive and engaging ride.
