2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Launched at ₹1.54 Lakh – New Features, Design Updates, and More

TVS Motor Company has refreshed its popular Apache RTR 200 4V for 2025 with several performance and styling upgrades. The launch comes as the brand celebrates 20 years of the Apache series, and reinforces TVS’s strong position in the 150cc–200cc segment, where it currently holds a 30% market share.

What’s New in the 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V?

Enhanced Suspension & Handling

The biggest mechanical upgrade is the new 37 mm golden Upside Down (USD) forks, replacing the older telescopic (RSU) forks. This change improves ride quality, cornering stability, and overall control—aligning the Apache with key rivals like the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Honda Hornet 2.0, and KTM 200 Duke, all of which already offer USD forks.

However, the adjustability feature present in the previous RSU forks has been removed in this update.

New Hydroformed Handlebar

The 2025 model also introduces a hydroformed handlebar, offering better vibration damping, improved stability, and enhanced durability thanks to a more robust strength-to-weight ratio.

Engine and Performance

Under the tank, the Apache RTR 200 4V remains mechanically unchanged, powered by a 197.75cc, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine producing 20.8 PS and 17.25 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

It continues to offer three riding modesSport, Urban, and Rain—with performance optimized based on the selected mode. The bike now meets stricter OBD2B emission norms, with no sacrifice in power delivery or efficiency.
