2025 Ducati Panigale V2 Launched in India at ₹19.12 Lakh — The Lightest Panigale

Ducati has just launched the 2025 Panigale V2 and V2 S in India, marking a big step forward for its twin-cylinder superbike lineup. This new generation blends race-inspired performance with modern electronics and road-friendly usability — all while being the lightest Panigale ever built.

Prices and Availability

The Panigale V2 is priced at ₹19.11 lakh (ex-showroom), while the V2 S costs ₹21.09 lakh (ex-showroom). Both versions will start reaching Ducati showrooms across India by the end of January 2025. They’re also fully E20 fuel compliant, making them future-ready for Indian roads.

Engine and Performance

At the heart of the new Panigale V2 is an 890cc 90-degree V-twin engine, which weighs just 54.4kg — the lightest twin-cylinder motor Ducati has ever made. It produces 120bhp at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm of torque at 8,250rpm, promising the perfect balance between performance and control.

Design and Styling

The 2025 model draws inspiration from the flagship Panigale V4, giving it a sharper, more aerodynamic look. It features sleek LED headlights with a distinct DRL signature, sculpted body panels, and a clean single-piece tail section with under-seat exhausts — a clear nod to Ducati’s racing DNA.

Chassis and Suspension

Built around a lightweight monocoque frame that uses the engine as a stressed member, the new V2 offers better agility and feedback on both road and track.

The V2 S variant takes things up a notch with premium Öhlins suspension — a NIX-30 fork up front and a TTX36 rear shock — both fully adjustable. It also features Brembo M50 monobloc brakes, a lithium battery, and weighs even less than the standard bike. The regular Panigale V2, meanwhile, gets a Marzocchi fork and Kayaba monoshock, both adjustable.

Technology and Features

Ducati has equipped the Panigale V2 with its latest six-axis IMU-based electronic suite, offering:

  • Cornering ABS with Slide-by-Brake
  • Ducati Traction Control (DTC)
  • Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC)
  • Engine Brake Control (EBC)
  • Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0 for clutchless upshifts and downshifts

There are four riding modes to choose from — Race, Sport, Road, and Wet — allowing riders to tailor performance to conditions and skill levels.

All vital information is displayed on a new 5-inch full-TFT screen, borrowed from the Panigale V4, offering clear visuals and intuitive control over settings and data.

Ducati India’s Take

Speaking at the launch, Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, said:

“The superbike segment in India is growing rapidly, and the 2025 Panigale V2 represents the perfect blend of Ducati’s racing DNA and everyday usability. It’s not just an update — it’s a completely new motorcycle designed to offer unmatched excitement and sophistication to Indian riders.”

Variants and Weight

Both models will be available exclusively in Ducati Red. The standard V2 comes with a two-seater setup and a dry weight of 179kg, while the sportier V2 S is single-seater and even lighter at 175kg (dry).

Final Thoughts

The 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 is more than just a refresh — it’s a reimagined twin-cylinder superbike that delivers on both thrill and practicality. With its lighter frame, sharper design, and advanced electronics, it brings Ducati’s superbike experience a little closer to everyday riders in India.
