New RT-XD4 Platform & Engine: Power Meets Efficiency
At the heart of the new Apache RTX lies the 299.1cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that produces 35.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.
The engine features dual cooling technology (liquid + oil) for consistent performance and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts and reduced fatigue during long rides.
The newly developed RT-XD4 platform highlights TVS’s next-gen engineering approach — delivering better heat management, smoother power delivery, and lower emissions. The powertrain also supports ethanol-blended fuels (E20 compliant), reinforcing TVS’s commitment to sustainable mobility.
